Spain’s cities, whether small or large, have a historical area that is wonderful to explore. To really appreciate the architecture and all the hidden corners of the old town, I would highly recommend doing it by foot. You will discover the beauty of Spain by roaming the small, narrow streets and looking at the centuries of architecture all around you. .
I offer half and full day walking tours.
The half day tours are 4 hours and can begin and end when you want them to. Since it is a private tour, the scheduling is up to you. Though the tours are usually done during the day, they are also available in the evening. I have given tours at night because some clients wanted me to take them to where the locals go to try different Spanish wines and ‘tapas’ (small appetizers of typical Spanish food). As you can see, anything is a possibility.
The full day tours are 8 hours and usually start at 10 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. but again the timing is up to you. We do some touring, stop mid-day for lunch and then continue touring. There are wonderful little places to eat ‘paella’ (a typical Spanish rice dish) or ‘tapas’.I always take my clients to small family-owned restaurants where locals frequently go. The quality of food is excellent and the price is even nicer! You can decide beforehand what type of price range you would like for the restaurant to be. I don't work like the typical tour guide that speaks to restaurants beforehand about bringing in tourists in order to get a free meal or a commission out of it and at the same time to serve just average or below average food. I don't work that way at all. My lunch is covered by my clients and they choose the price range and what type of food they prefer. If you just want to grab something quick and meals are not important, that is fine with me too.
The walking tours always cover the main attractions but also include little hidden places that tourists never find. I will help you discover these places so that you can see the real Spain.
